Dannii named MSFW Ambassador

In 2008 Dannii was the headline act of Sydney's Rosemount Fashion Week, entertaining the fashionistas with her Disco moves. This year she is back in style as Melbourne Spring Fashion Week has announed the diva as the face of the 2011 campaign.

Dannii who will get to showcase her own design label Project D said:

Fashion is something that takes up a lot of my time, between juggling a baby and TV commitments, but it's something that I am very passionate about. I'm honoured to be a part of it.

It's just an absolute pleasure and it's the cherry on top to be in Melbourne and be doing things with my fashion label. It's been amazing to be involved with the whole event, the people that I've met and everybody's insights to Melbourne and how the fashion event brings Melbourne to life is brilliant.

When Dannii and I discussed the possibility of her being ambassador, I was impressed by her enthusiasm about promoting design, fashion and style in Melbourne.

During the launch the Style Queen said that neon is back, wearing a stunning chunky neon bright necklace herself to match the colourful models. Dannii was dressed in Project D A/W 2011.

The fashion event runs from September 5 to September 11.

It's also been said that Disco and Tabs will be showcasing their S/S 2012 collection @ the London Fashion Week, also in September. A newspaper journalist quoted Tabitha saying she was 'thrilled'.
